Elephant Trek and Bamboo Rafting!

November 22nd, 2010

We all were looking forward to this day!! The kids were pumped because they got to ride an elephant today. Well we won't be going on many more tours we will do things on our own from now on. Picture the 4 of us on the back seat of the mini bus will little to no A/C oh ya it was fantastic or it just didn't reach the back seat one of the two! So it took 2 hours to reach the elephant camp which would of been great if we weren't so uncomfortable to begin with.

The elephant ride was good but will never do it again it was for the kids and they enjoyed it but they split us up so we didn't even get to do it with Kevin:(

While there we learned about rubber tapping it was pretty cool to see how rubber was made and Simon is bringing home some rubber to show his teacher!

After lunch was the highlight of the whole tour for all of us we went rafting on a bamboo raft it's the only part for the tour I would recommend!! It was amazing and so much fun for all of us!! They tried to split us up again but i wasn't having it so they let us all go together:)

If we did it again it would only be the rafting part!! Oh ya did you notice no life jackets:)

That's all for tonight!! Kevin is off on the 26th for his 3 day diving adventure will post pictures when he returns and Cara, TJ and Mae arrive soon!

Love Christine
